What is VET Training

Nationally Recognised Qualifications

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), is the national regulator for VET training in Australia, requires that Training organisations must apply for, and be registered with ASQA. Once registered, they must comply with The Australian VET Quality Framework, which comprises:

  • the Standards for Registered Training Organisations,
  • Australian Qualifications Framework,
  • Fit and Proper Person Requirements,
  • Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements,
  • and Data Provision Requirements.

The Standards should be read together with the Standards for Training Packages, Standards for VET Accredited Courses, and Standards for VET Regulators. Enrolling with a licenced Registered Training Organisation, means that the Education provider is licenced and follows standards and you should always check if the RTO is licenced or not on the Goverment Training website.

Finish your Qual

Workplace training, your way...

Maybe you started a Qualification a while ago, and well... life just took over. Now that you have decided to complete that Qualification, we can help. All RTO's offer a service called RPL - that means recognition for prior learning. The way it works is, that if you have successfully completed a unit of competency in the past, our Trainers look at what you have done, what the unit of competency requires and assesses your current standing. Its up to you to prove to our Trainers that you have those skills and that they meet the current standards. Then, we plan the way forward for you - training your way at your pace.
