Annual Volunteer Awards
Each year, we celebrate the work of Volunteers in our Region during National Volunteers Week in May. We host events in Fraser Coast, North and South Burnett, Wide Bay, Childers and Bundaberg.
Volunteer Expos
Each year, as part of the National Volunteer Week celebrations in May, Wide Bay Volunteers hosts a Volunteer Expo showcasing the work of Not-for-Profit organisations in our region.
Our Volunteer Events
In addition to the National Volunteer Week celebrations in May (with the AVA's and Volunteer Expos), we held a number of events, designed to fulfill our charitable objects, and find pathways from volunteering into employment. We also held community fundraisers and donated all the money to local organisations in need.

These are held throughout your region, in National Volunteers Week each year.
The Mad Hatters Tea Parties
Volunteer Managers are our Mad Hatters - they have one job and many hats. These events are for networking, information sharing and training.
The Annual Volunteer Expo
Gathering of the Not-for-Profit organisations in our region, to increase awareness of volunteering, celebrate volunteers and recruit.
Tools of Technology Expo
Promoting our IT Recycling Center and IT training in our region.
Fundraising for Community Needs
Here the community need was Disabled Seating at the Moncrief Theatre, so we conducted fundraising for that cause.

Since 2015, we have been Auctioning Art Donations and donating the proceeds to community causes to address emerging needs or other NFP.

Promoting equality and equity in our community sector.

Multicultural Festival
Every year the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Qld, stages the Bundaberg Multicultural Festival as its signature event.
Chinese New Year
The Bundaberg Regional Council hosts Chinese New Year celebrations each year in honour of Bundaberg’s sister city, Nanning.

Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea
Annual Schools Science and Engineering Challenge
A partnership of the University of Newcastle and the Rotary Club of Bundaberg West to encourage over 400 students to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
Bundaberg Junior Tennis Tournament
We help our local sports clubs with resources.

Our Annual campaigns include 20th February, UN Social justice is an underlying principle for peaceful and prosperous coexistence within and among nations.
